Construction Estimating
Construction companies are increasingly challenged with complicated projects requiring thoughtful and thorough analysis not only during construction but equally at pre-construction. Whilst we can offer a simple estimating service we have the experience and expertise to undertake a far greater role on behalf of our clients. We believe our competence lies not only in producing analytical estimates but also involvement in the whole bid process working with or managing the design team, design co-ordinators and planners to produce well considered and cost effective solutions. As part of our estimating service we are able produce detailed in house Bills of Quantities and assist in the selection of competent subcontractors and suppliers. We have a comprehensive knowledge of modern information technology including Conquest Estimating Software.

Builders Quantities
Whilst many of clients require a full estimating service some just require the production of quantities. Having worked directly for major contractors for many years we know that many companies provide this service we also know that often what is produced leaves the Contractors Estimator with an incomplete document. Often we have found that quantities have been provided based purely upon the basic drawn information with little consideration for resolving design issues and in many cases simply describing whole sections of work without quantifying them at all. Because of our background we know that this approach is of no use to the Estimator pricing the scheme. We always seek to address the design issue working with our clients design team, identifying shortfalls in the drawn and written information provided and then incorporating the resultant design development into the final quantities. Our approach is always pro-active and you will find we are very cost competitive.

Cost Planning and Budget Production
Our detailed knowledge and historic data base of costs for all types of construction projects makes us an ideal choice to assist in cost planning and budgets. Whether it's a budget to assess the affordability of a site, a feasibility study of a project or a simple or detailed cost plan we have the skills and the knowledge to assist.

Code for Sustainable Homes
In April 2007 the Code for Sustainable Homes replaced EcoHomes for the assessment of new housing in England. CP Construction Consultants are licensed by the Building Research Establishment to carry out assessments under the Code. Our extensive experience of the Construction industry allows us to assist our clients in making key decisions when designing and specifying their property. Our Estimating background ensures we always target the most cost effective solution for achieving the Code rating required. Our service includes Pre-assessment, Design Stage and Post Construction Assessments. In addition we can undertake Daylight calculations and the production of Home User Guides We have close affiliations with other key consultants involved in the process including SAP and Flood Risk specialists together with Ecologists.

EcoHomes
CP Construction Consultants are also licensed to carry out EcoHomes assessments for schemes registered under the old BRE EcoHomes and for EcoHomes refurbishments.
