Our business
CP Construction Consultants LLP was formed in 2005 by Jason Pye and Darren Coyle two professional construction estimators, with nearly fifty years combined experience working for major contractors operating in London and the South East. Our aim, having worked in Estimating Departments for the majority of our careers, was to offer a niche service, allowing Contractors to employ highly experienced specialist Estimators on a job by job basis overcoming the peaks and troughs of work flow associated with competitive tendering.

Whilst we consider our experience to be our greatest asset we also believe that it is very important to form close working relationships with our clients based upon mutual trust. We aim to satisfy our clients not only in the quality of our work but also in the speed of response, flexibility of approach and a commitment to provide exactly what is requested. If required we will adopt our clients procedures, standard forms and methods of working ensuring the end product satisfies in all respects. For many of our clients the flexibility of only having to employ highly experienced estimators on a job by job basis makes economic sense reducing their overall pre-tender expenditure whilst receiving the same level of service and support.
Since starting our business we are proud of our record supporting our clients in accordance with their requirements. If we commit to doing a project we fully commit to it. We will not accept a commission unless we are happy we can fully meet our own standards as well as that of the clients. In all cases we have received repeat business
Our people
Jason Pye BSc Quantity surveying, MCIOB. Jason has worked in construction for over twenty years specialising in estimating for most of this time. Before forming CP Construction Consultants LLP Jason worked as both a Senior Estimator and Bid manager for major contractors in the South East. In recent years he has worked on a wide range of projects from social housing, supermarkets, hotels, retail and office refurbishments ranging in value from £100,000 to £70 million. Jason is also licensed by the BRE to undertake Code for Sustainable Homes audits and assessments.
Darren Coyle MSc Construction IT, MCIOB. Darren has worked in construction for twenty five years specialising in estimating for the majority of this time. Before forming CP Construction Consultants LLP Darren worked as Chief Estimator for a major contractor providing social housing and healthcare facilities and was responsible for the whole bid process. In recent years he has worked on varied projects including leisure facilities, housing extensions, mixed tenure multi occupancy housing, retail and offices ranging in value from £50,000 up to £50 million. Darren is also licensed by the BRE to undertake Code for Sustainable Homes audits and assessments.
Chris Smith Chris has a career spanning five decades and practically every role from trainee to Commercial Director. Having worked for himself for ten years undertaking estimating for a number of clients Chris now works on a consultative basis for CP Construction Consultants specialising in high quality bespoke projects in the commercial, educational and health sector.
